What a wine list ... stunning. All of the world greatest and rarest wines on one list. This restaurant probably has one of the most extraordinary wine list in the world. Food is 2 star Michelin level without any doubt, the service perfect, the location trendy. If you are a foodie with a flexible budget , check out this restaurant!

It's like being teleported to another world, it was full of wonder and delicious food. This is 2 Michelin star and worth every penny, its a bit Alice in Wonderland as you enter a palace and ascend the elevator and enter a moon like dining room. The staff were just so friendly and probably used to quiet business men but... More

What an amazing restaurant. It is located in the beautiful Palais Coburg. Part of the lobby has an exposed glassed over area where you can view the original roman ruins. The restaurant is upstairs and is very serene. We opted for the surprise tasting menu with wine pairings. Since I don't drink red the server accommodated me with all whites.... More

The restaurant is located at the top of a palace. At checkin, you take private elevator to restaurant. 13 tables in two rooms. 4 week notice to get seating. I called the night before and got in on a Thursday night but we were told that the seating would be just outside of the two dining rooms. We did not... More

First of all, making a reservation from a foreign country was not easy. My husband had to fill out a form and faxed it to them. But it is all worth it! We are very impressed with the service and the food! There was just a little imperfection for the evening. I feel like they were a little pushy on... More

We came to this restaurant because of the wine cellar and left utterly thrilled with the entire experience. The food was wonderful- the amuse bouche was the most amazing thing I had ever tasted. I cannot possibly describe how utterly brilliant it was- one of those moments I will always remember! And that was just the beginning of a long... More

Although the welcoming is somewhat formal and the atmosphere sumptuous, we enjoyed a really nice evening thanks to the talented young waiters and of course the very good, creative cuisine of Silvio Nickol. Tables are big and there is plenty of space which ensures privacy is respected. There is no menu as such, there is a 'basic' (so to say... More

Very expensive but perfect from all the aspects. You need reservation with months earlier sometimes. The food is poetry. The dessert is amazing. I don't eat fish and even if it was ordered for me fish, the waitress immediately changed my food with pleasure! I orders 5 dishes and at everyone of them, the well-trained waitress told us a story... More

I came here with my partner to celebrate his birthday. We opted for the 9 course surprise meal. The food was beautifully presented but we felt that some courses contained rather strange combinations..... E.g. Chocolate, cheese, grape, duck. You could argue that eating Michelin starred food is about challenging your taste buds but we felt that a couple of courses... More

Here for Saturday dinner and opted for the chef's selection menu with seven courses and paired wines. The meal started with three sets of amuse bouche, all tasty treats and proceeded to showcase fish and meats widely sourced. All were very good and nicely paired with the wines, although we di get our wines somewhat in advance of some of... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
