The food & drink seem expensive. Staff is UNfriendly. It is a shame because it is a great location & nice outdoor seating.

Never experienced such an awful service. Looks like non of the waiters ever had a proper education. Food was okay but getting ignored for about thirty minutes in front of empty glasses can't make up for that. We'll never ever come back. Especially because the waitress gave us way too little drawback. Pity we only realized that when already were... More

Found this place by accident. We were lucky to get the last table and was very happy with the atmosphere, food and service. Prices were reasonable for Vienna I did like the young crowd. Drinks were really nice and all of us enjoyed the place. Although I cant speak for the others I do think that my steak was one... More

Great place. Nice for having coffee and cake. Their menu is extensive, with a great selection of breakfast items -- sort of like a US diner, but more posh! Great servers, too.

We ordered several dishes including Aumann salad, Beef tartar, Wiener Schnitzel, fried chicken, fried fish and knodel (potatoes and eggs). We think beef tartar and chicken were good. The rest were ok. I had to use tabasco sauce with my schnitzel as I felt there was not much taste. But I could have had he bad piece. I like my... More

My friend took me here, and I really liked it. They had a wide array of food choices, with LOTS of drinks! You can even smoke inside. The only negative is its a tad expensive. We each paid about 25€ for an entree and 2 drinks. Besides that no complaints.

Neighbourhood Profile
The 18th district is the most inconspicuous of the listed neighbourhoods. Where else can you still watch card players at a Viennese coffeehouse, or listen to authentic Viennese folk songs with a local audience? Like most respected Viennese neighborhoods, Währing has its own street market, Kutschkermarkt, where you can best feel its pulse. One of Währing’s loveliest outdoor destinations is the small garden palace and museum Geymüllerschlössel. The exquisite 19th century interior is spiced up by contemporary art installations curated by the Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art (MAK).
