Good food with very friendly staff, pleasant visit! Sashimi was fresh and the beef noodle had typical taiwanese flavour.

Standard Asian food, owners (waitress) very friendly, all kinds of Sushi, fried rice dishes, also some specialities... Extremely good value! Little extras (e.g. fried onions on a dish) make the difference. Go there before they close, the owners are close to pension!

Staying at the hotel Alstadt we went out to look for a close by restaurant on our first night. From the outside looks very plain, food fantastic, tempura vegetables, satay skewers, duck. Well worth a visit to this family run restaurant..

We were pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Vienna close to the museums n hofburgh palace. The outside n interior appears like a Japanese restaurant but I've noticed wall hangings with characters describing 'Taiwan mum' when I spoke to the lady owner she quickly acknowledge her Taiwan roots and she introduced several Taiwanese cuisine to us... We were caught in a down poor so based on trip advisor reviews we walked the short distance from our hotel the Sans Soucy Wein . Relatively cheap, filling; food cooked to order. However it was not a good experience as food was bland greasy and service was very slow.

Try this place. It's simple, cheap and the food is very good. I ate a gyoza which was very taste. My friend ordered a salmon grilled which was good as well. Of you are around, try this restaurant.

Stopped by for lunch before visiting the Museum of Fine Arts on a weekday. The waitress was nice and attentive. Got an inexpensive (less than €10) bento box with sushi, which was plentiful. The sushi rice was so overcooked that it was super mushy, sticky, and hard to eat. The fish was okay, but nothing to write home about. The... More

The owner is very nice helping guests. The food is acceptable, sushi is good, rice dishes are also very tasty. Price is acceptable for the good food and a friendly environment.

We selected this restaurant because my kids are crazy for sushi and because we tried another Japanese restaurant (which we already knew) and it was full. The ambiente is simple and friendly, surely not a trendy place and we liked that. Unfortunately the food was not meeting our expectations, in particular considering the incredibly positive evaluations on tripadvisor. We had... More

Delicious and very affordable asian dishes! Love the minced pork rice, rice dumplings and taiwan meat platter (rem to ask the boss for these as they are not on the english menu). Best of all, a cosy place to dine in and a definite A* service. An Asian gem in Vienna!

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
