El lugar es muy lindo por dentro, sin embargo la carta de platos fuertes es limitada y los mismos son de sabor promedio nada excepcional, por lo menos en lo que se refiere a la Pechuga empanizada y a los Ravioles de Ganso. Buena variedad...More

While the apple strudel was very good, this is not a particularly special place or atmosphere. You will not be unhappy here, but it should not be your one and only coffee house visit.

Love this Cafe, it is a must stop for the gracious old world service, the works of art dessert, and of course the history. Food is delicious!

A visit here transports you back to another time. A very pleasant atmosphere. I could sit here all day, sip coffee and nibble on tasty snacks. There was a live pianist while we were there. A very different feel from Demel, Cafe Sacher Eck and...More

This famous traditional café with its 130 year history was first opened in 1876 and at the turn of the 20th century it was a popular meeting point for leading lights in the world of art, literature, politics and science such as Arthur Schnitzler, Sigmund Freud, Peter Altenberg and Leo Trotzki. Then, like today, the legendary literature café was a meeting point for all ages, regular guests, Viennese locals and visitors. Unique architecture combined with the best coffee specialities, classic Viennese cuisine and finest home-made pastries make every visit a special experience. Daily Live Piano Music from 5pm on! Reservations are strongly recommended to avoid waiting time - upon availability. Many thanks in advance for your understanding!
