The food quality was good but wasn't impressed by service - after ordering a starter and 4 mains, they had the audacity to charge us for 2 jugs of tap water on a boiling hot day without telling us (30 cents a glass). More a...More

We really enjoyed our dinner here - Vienna laneways are pretty special at night and it's wonderful to find a restaurant servicing vegetarians and vegans in this location. They have an interesting selection of fake meats on the menu - I played it safe with...More

Over the years we have grown to enjoy finding small family run places like this. The menu gave us the chance to try vegan versions of local dishes.

Excellent, delicious food that just happens to be vegetarian. I've been to Bio Bar during more that one trip to Vienna and have loved it every time. It was winter during my last trip (two weeks ago), and I ordered a hearty soup and goulash...More

It's more than a bar, I would have called it "Bio Tavern", or something like that. The place is simple but hospitable, with small tables for single or couples, or larger tables for 4-people. We had some saucy-spicy vegetables and some potatoes, a soup, and...More

Good veg food. Not mind blowing, but expect tasty veg alternatives of the traditional Central European star dishes. Yummy.

If Vienna is no longer imperial capital it is a great capital of culinary republic. We recently enjoyed a vegan part of it. You may easily miss it behind the memorial to Viennese jewelry perished during WWII. Small and cozy, opened for breakfast, lunch and...More

We were headed for another resto, but were so glad to have stopped here instead. Very nice vibe & friendly service. The food was yummy-we had risotto with smoked tofu and chilli with tofu. The wine was also good. Definitely worth a try!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here - a lovely quiet spot for dining outside situated on a beautiful secluded lane-way. A number of the dishes here are the "faux-meat and potatoes" style which while not to everyone's liking, is quite enjoyable once in a while.

I am mostly vegan so love to try vegan and vegetarian places everywhere I travel. This place is very cute, located off a pedestrian street, and the lady who helped us provided fantastic service, very professional. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the...More
