I’ve been coming to Vienna annually for a month for the past 4 years and I love Englander. The food is creative with many Viennese classics - always very fresh ingredients and the kitchen knows their stuff. Desserts are Awesome! Pleasant, good service, full dinner...More

We only stopped off for coffee which was ok. In fairness we did not eat and the breakfasts looked generous and smelt good. Seemed to be more of a local place. Service ok but surroundings dull and not particularly welcoming.....

The place is very nice, and for those who enjoy Austrian cuisine it is a perfect spot. The soups we had for starters were really good and also massive. Much bigger than in several other restaurants we tried out in the city. The veal-Schnitzel was...More

Stopped by this restaurant at the advice of a local, and we were not disappointed. The boiled beef, was phenomenal, and they had a great wine selection. The service was spectacular...highly recommend.

I ate outside and the smokers were both inside and out. I'm not a fan of smoke with my food. I paid 19 Euro for wiener schnitzel and 5 Euro for a glass of wine. Portion size small. I went down the road for a...More

we sat outside and the very friendly waiter served us the best viener schnitzels ever, with recommendation about the garnish and the beer to go with it. It was a very pleasant evening, in a side street, surrounded by mostly locals.

Yep you don't need them Stumbled into this local cafe trying to escape the tourist centre. Nice spot, with side walk tables in the sun. Had the fixed menu. I tried the boiled beef which was surprisingly nice, really tender with mustard/horseradish, while my partner...More

Prices were mid range. Not what I considered expensive for the Innenstadt in Vienna. Food was good. Service was a bit rude. But it was filled with locals rather than tourists. Hope you enjoy Vienna.
