Loved this modern restaurant along the canal. Vibrant and busy however it did not mean service and food weren't good. Both were excellent. Better book though as anyone you ask about this place will recommend it.

The decor is nice. The atmosphere was very good, although a little bit on the loud side. We were lucky enough to be near the window and enjoy the rather nice view. Our food was very nice, and our wine was very expensive for a...More

I really like Motto am Fluss (Kafe, the place upstairs). You better reserve a table because it is very rare to get a table just when you get there- still- ask and they might figure out something. It is good for breakfast, coffee, just having...More

It is best to book a table in advance but we were lucky by wanting an early meal. The very friendly waiter said he had a free table for two so long as we were finished by 21:30. This suited us fine. The table was...More

This 'boat brasserie' is located on the quayside of the inner Danube and near the major communication hub of Schwedenplatz. Here you have a nice view of the quays and its walks as well as the sunset beyond the town ... It's easy to spontaneously...More

The person who is placing people at the tables for dinner is horribly unfriendly, started a discussion with us why we didn't book for 5 people when we were 4 and a baby. This is not what you expect when you would like to have...More

Went for brunch with Austrian friends - great location, but the food was awful. We all ordered different brunch items, all came to us stone cold. We told our waiter, no apology. nothing. This place isn't cheap - totally not worth the money.

Old University Quarter
North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly
turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to
legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at
Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque

a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and

There were quite a few vegetarian options. The asparagus salad starter in particular was divine!
