Visited as a part of our 3 day tour of Vienna and was made to feel welcome. Really enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna. Also enjoyed the staffs traditional dress.

The food is very good (I had pork schnitzel with potato mayonnaise) and the portions are big enough to share. A friend had gnocchi with tomato sauce and it was maximum ok. The environment and people are nice and friendly.

We just dropped in here, as we passed by and were hungry. We had tomato salad as a starter which was excellent, followed by a wienerschnitzel with salad and chips. There were two schnitzels on my plate and they were massive, there were loads of chips and I could not finish my portion. I describe the food as traditional Austrian.... More

...huge portions, though. Serves a selection of local dishes and brews. Basic, nothing to get too excited about, but nothing too disappointing either. NOTE! Cash only! No credit or cash cards.

Fast and friendly service. Good choice of drinks, local foods and some international ones. A 'real restaurant' in an area that's more filled with fast food and take out joints.

We shared the xl rib dish. Ribs were great and there was plenty for two. Nice atmosphere & good beer too, but be aware it's cash only.

I ate there with my boyfriend. The staff was friendly and efficient, quick service. My boyfriend really loved the goulash, but my vegetarian dish was really too abundant (i couldn't finish it) and not so good.

Place is busy with lots of atmosphere. Lots of nice big sociable tables which was good as in a big crowd. Quite a few choices of beer and the wheat beer was excellent. Thankfully we didn't have starters as the main courses are completely massive. Choice is good especially if you like meat and potatoes ! Everyone enjoyed their meal... More

I ate a pre-determined traditional schnitzel meal with a group of university students. The service was great, but the food was just so-so. The portions were large and traditional in nature, yet I was hoping for a bit more. We ate an early dinner, however the atmosphere had potential. I would give it another chance, but would keep my expectations... More
