While my wife and mother in law where shopping I decided to use my free time to get a decent steak. I had a 600 gram prime rib, medium It was perfect, juicy and well spiced. Good little espresso to finish. Friendly service! Also when you come alone.

IN my view this Steak House is one of the best in Vienna. We had 1 Fillet steak 1 Rib eye & 1 Surf & turf. The Steaks were all cooked perfectly and my prawns were just bursting with flavour! Couldn't have cooked them better myself. Staff were great too. Loved the place and will be back next time we... More

Great meal, steak cooked to perfection, lovely vegetables and roasted potatoes. Drinks were lovely, wine/beer/coffee. Excellent service, and sweets were a treat too!

We found this place after an amazing ballet at the Opera House. When we walked in it was dead and the waiter seated us immediately. Food came out of the kitchen very fast, but seemed like it was prepared for hours. What an amazing flavor. I ate every last bite. If you are in Europe and you just need to... More

It’s not easy to find in Vienna a good steak prepared right to your taste and with all the trimmings you are used to in the States. Vienna’s “Steakpoint” downtown Vienna, close to Kärntnerstrasse and the Opera house, is no exception. It prides itself to have the “best steaks of the highest quality in town” which, if taken at face... More

I had been told Steakpoints were great places for steaks. Maybe for some people but not for me. I can buy a better steak from SPAR and cook it myself. When i go to a "steak place" I expect much better than I got here.

My partner and I wanted to visit Liebsteinsky but it was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. This then took is on a hunt to find elsewhere. We assumed you "can't go wrong with steak"!! As soon as we walked in we were treated by a dog that was owned by a customer. This almost put is off instantly but decided... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
