I chose this restaurant based on the reviews, but what I encountered was certaintly nothing special. A diner on their own is an opportunity for the waiting staff to be friendly, welcoming and perhaps a little small-talk, but none of that here. Shown to a table in a rather offhand way. Took my order, Mango llasa was tasty, but popadoms didn't arrive and I had to ask again when it was obvious they weren't going to materialise. Nice raitha.
The chicken biriani was shown on the menu as a speciality of the house, but it was really bland.

Excellent Taste. Outdoor Courtyard type os seating was very relaxing. Quality of the Food was great esp the Naans, Muglai chicken and Lamb rogangosh. My colleagues mentioned the mango lassi was awesome as well. Will definitely recommend this to all my fellow connoisseur of Indian foods

If an Indian restaurant is frequented by many Indians, then that can only be a good sign. This impression is confirmed by Nirwana in Vienna on Rotenturmstrasse. In terms of price, it is certainly not in the cheapest category, but in a top ambience with the best service and excellent quality, you can spend an evening there feeling good with the flair of the subcontinent. Tasty food with spices from sweet to spicy, an experience.

Delicious authentic Indian food tucked away from the main street. If you didn’t know it by reputation you probably wouldn’t find it / select to eat here given its setting but the food was amazing. Only thing that dropped the final star for us was having to ask for the bill after not having any service for 20mins, then waiting over 25mins and still ended up having to get up and pay at the bar as it was never brought to us.

The location I didn't like so much and the wsl typical smell for a place like this. But the reception and service is very friendly and attentive (do you want the mineral water cooled or not). The food is very good, but a bit too spicy for me. Das Naan

We got Authentic Indian food here. They served us Jain food. We were a little late for lunch, but the owner was sweet to allow us. Would highly recommend this restaurant for Indian / Vegetarian/ Jain food in Prague

Fabulous food. First we were encouraged by a small menu as this usually indicates better quality of each dish - we were right, we had a lamb and chicken dish with meat that melted in our mouths and different tasty sauces. Beads are made in the kitchen fresh, you can watch them being prepped for the restaurant which was good too. We would eat here lots if it was local to us 😎

After seven days in Europe I was ready for some Indian food and nirvana did not disappoint. The food was authentic and tasty, the service was good but we were the only customers, which is a shame because the food is good. If you are in Vienna and craving an Indian meal then this is a great place to eat at in central Vienna.

Nice casual spot in innere stadt, helpful staff nice atmosphere good food options with portions.
Go for the biryani as it’s filling with lots of chicken rice ryita and naan. Good value for money.

For me, the best Indian restaurant. The food is simply a dream. No matter what I've tried so far. Of course the price is a bit higher here, but it's absolutely justified. Nice service and great atmosphere. It's not very big, so maybe make a reservation in advance.

Absolutely pathetic food. The dosa and vadas we ordered were below par. Sambar was worse than what I can make at home (especially not being from south India). Service was absolutely horrible.

Average food. We ordered Bollywood beat chicken- chicken quality wasn’t great and gravy was so-so. The tadka daal was nice. Channa masala lacked masala. Sabzi kadhai was ok. Naan was thick- consider making it thinner.

The place looks quite unassuming from outside, but the food was great, best curry I’ve had in quite a few years. I had the chicken tikka masala with a bit of extra spice, just what I needed to warm me up after a cold day in Vienna.

The kindness of the Indian staff together with the nice smell of the incense stick and the Indian food will guarantee you a unique authentic Indian gastronomic experience. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and kind.
