This restaurant is well located around Vienna old town and its not the most touristic one but if you want to try the traditional Sachertorte torte it’s a really good option, since it’s not so expensive like the famous Coffee places around and the torte...More

Welcome was nice, food was traditional and fine but overall experience was poor due to our experience with the waiter. In my opinion he was rude and not customer oriented at all. He seemed upset with our questions on typical Austrian meals and the fact...More

The owner takes only cash. The finance department should control this man who doesn't declare obviously all his incomes / turn over. Besides the hot chocolate is scandaliusly bad. no interest to go there.

Cafe Braunerhof, which dates from the 1920 is one of Vienna´s oldest traditional Coffee Houses, very charming with its typical "Viennese" atmosphere, very good breakfast and lunch. A favorite meeting place and a place to savor and relax. It was Thomas Bernhard´s favorite Cafee in...More

This has such a lovely atmosphere and seems like a place that has remained unchanged for decades, which is great. We struggled with the menu as we don't speak German, but the waiter was very helpful and made good suggestions. We had a lovely lunch...More

We dropped in for coffee and cake on Sunday afternoon and found a trio playing music on piano, cello and violin. The cafe has traditional decor and cuisine, and listening to afternoon music made us feel very civilised and gave a feel of how it...More

The atmosphere here is typical Vienna, mostly local folks. The fish lunch special was excellent. The formal waiters were patient. It’s a nice break spot for Hofburg Palace.
