This place has nice staff and serves nice Italian food. It's a great option for a quick bowl of pasta. The location is very convenient, just a few steps away from Graben.

Very friendly people. The food is very good, everything seems prepared and cooked when ordered. Not to crowded. This is a place one should try for lunch or dinner when visiting Vienna.

We ate (and drank) here a year ago (Dec 2015) when we first visited Vienna and really enjoyed the experience. As a result we returned here just a week ago. They didn't have a table but enthusiastically told us they would an hour later (around 8pm). So we went off and had a drink elsewhere and returned at 8pm and,... More

We needed a late night meal on a Monday, we walked past da Gennaro, saw it was open and pretty much empty so gave it a go. Service was prompt, our pizza and calzone were both good. I'd be happy to go again.

Happened across this restaurant when visiting Vienna and as we were travelling with our 8 year old son and had realised we were all starving we stopped at the first suitable restaurant we found. It was an occasional visit of the restaurant. I took Penne Arrabbiata. The sauce was too strong with garlic and pepper for me. I could not feel the real taste of penne.

Whilst visiting Vienna for the day we didnt have a clue where to eat, we came across this restaurant down a little side street off the main shopping area, we had a lovely meal with good service, best garlic bread iv had and lasagne and pizza was really good.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
