Very nice ambiance on a snowy night. Enjoyed the Schnitzel and the beer. Will definitely stop by on another occasion.

We ate here mid week. Has a smoking room and non-smoking room so just be careful where you sit. The menu was pretty standard pricing, we had snitzchels, salad, apple strudel and sache cake and coffees. The service was good so definitely would recommend.

We came here as it was one of the few places open in the city on New Year's Day. What a pleasant surprise! Not only was the menu in English, but the staff were polite and attentive (apparently a rarity in Vienna). The food we ordered came in good time, and was of a high standard. My girlfriend ordered the... More

We ate a couple of times in this restaurant, and generally fared well. Not much atmosphere unless full. Efficient, friendly waiters.

Leupold Kupferdahl was very good. The food quality was roughly comparable to Figlmuller, but the location was off the beaten track for tourists and much easier to get into with or without a reservation. Also, there was a much wider selection of dishes to choose from, including seasonal specials and daily specials. There is also a better local Austrian beer... More

We ate here on three evenings because we enjoyed the first so much. We loved the Austrian food and felt the idea of offering full and half portions allowed us try lots of recipes and flavours without stuffing ourselves. The service was great and the prices reasonable. We were in two minds whether to bother to book but were so... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
