A good place to sample great wines and try some hearty plates of local food in an historical and characterful ambience in the old centre.Courteous and attentive service.

Esterhazykeller is located in a very nice courtyard in Vienna's city center. Sitting outside in the courtyard is such a treat! Food is very good, typical Austrian Cuisine - homemade style - is served. Reservation is highly recommended.

Ate here twice. Great atmosphere in deep cellar. Quite large in a catacomb kind of way. All the food, including scnitzel of course, was tasty with good meats. Also had sausage and potatoe salad which were all tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

Went there for lunch and sat inside. The food was very good, and we loved the atmosphere. We will go again!

Schnitzel is smaller than other restaurants, reasonable price, and the staff are not so friendly. It says they accept VISA at the entrance but they claim the machine is broken and not accepting credit card. So we had to collect the cash we have, and...More

The downstairs of this restaurant is amazing! The food was good, staff was nice, and the atmosphere was great. Not the best food, but not the worst for the pricing! It is a little off of the side street which is nice!

The restaurant was closed, but it smaller "brother" the Esterhaty Strübl was open. We has our meal on the street - very calm passage way and had a daily menu for a very reasonable price and a very good food.

Note: You can skip to the conclusion if you can't be bothered to read. Well first off we were shoved into the garden where the waiter hastily dumped two menus on our table. She came back to our table and quickly took our orders. We...More

Always! It's their signature dish! It would be like going to McDonalds and the Big Mac not being available! It may be 4 years between my visits, but the standard is always great.
