Our concierge recommended that we come to this restaurant. We really enjoyed the history that was here. The food was good too. We ate outside and enjoyed the amazing atmosphere that was around us. It was a little pricey, but it was a good experience.

Charming exterior and very interesting interior, if a little cold. The staff are efficient but not so friendly, brusque is a word I would choose. Food consisted of two soup starters my wife opting for the Goose soup which she enjoyed, mine was the traditional Vienna potato soup which was not particularly good, more mushrooms than a creamy potato soup... We booked ahead for christmas eve. it was very busy but the set meal was outstanding. Amazing cuisine and one of the best steaks we've ever had. Although the portions seemed small, after 4 courses, we came away very full. Outstanding room, service a little haughty, and a little pricey, but worth it ! we would recommend it to you... More

The place is very cool and the food is great, but the reception was strange and unfriendly. I am a tourist, and very tourists go there to eating and also to see the signatures of a lot famous persons, and take pictures, and a boy was rude to us, even with a empty room, despite that stay and eat.

it's not just a place to eat goulash or a schnitzel and drink its famous pilsen beer. it's a historic old viennese Inn. on the walls and the ceiling you can read a part of the history. I found the signature of Ρήγας Φεραίος.

We came here for our wedding anniversary. After visiting Vienna 7 times previously, 8th is the charm and at last we got the chance to try the Griechenbeisl. It does NOT disappoint. The food was great and the serving a bit larger than I expected, that being the Stelze I ordered. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (way better... More

tafelspitz and sacher tarte were good: Nothing extra-ordinary but good value for money. Together with the Friendly service, the atmosphere and a little piece of live music by a pianist, made that we had a lovely evening. Would recommand it.

The food was very good, excellent and friendly staff, a little overprice though. The rent must be really high :-) However, it's worth the experience.

We have returned to this restaurant after 4 years when we were in Vienna last, and the dining experience was once again a lovely one. The greeting hosts were extremely helpful in finding us a table without a reservation (try not to go there without reservation to avoid disappointment). The food is good and so is the service, but once... More

The dishes are well prepared according to local tradition. The plates arrive heated in order to keep your dishes warm (or maybe because heated in a microwave?). In any case it is typical even though not the best quality you can find in Vienna. The service is kind but at times e little too "pressing", so feel under pressure to... More
