A few years ago we visited the original Sacher hotel in Salzburg, superb service. Not here, but Sacher torte was delicious!

We didn’t even get to the point of ordering, The waiter was lazy he did not acknowledge anyone. We waited to be seated behind a barrier which was very weird and uncalled for. After moving forward still no response by anyone in the cafe. I then...More

Nothing was too much trouble for them. I ordered the fried chicken and my husband ordered the schnitzel. We both had the torte with coffee. Pure bliss.

Having visited Cafe Sacher in Salzburg last year, our expectations were high for Innsbruck's version. A short queue to get a table and we were in! Service was very prompt and all four of us had Sacher torte with cream. It must have been out...More

We went here during a weekend visit with friends. To be honest my wife and I thought the Sacher torte was average as best. €6.50 for a piece of dry, bland chocolate cake is not great value. The drinks were good and integrating, but overall...More

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday. The food was poor quality and overpriced - very disappointing.

This cafe is definitely not worth a visit. It’s dirty; there was toilet paper on the red carpet and nobody cleaned it up. The waiter was super unfriendly. And we paid 10,30€ for three cafe’s. I would recommend you to spend your money somewhere else.

What else to say regarding Sacher? Cosy atmosphere, purple sofas, excellent hot chocolate, and, and, Sacher Torte!

I was curious to try the famous Sacher cake, and managed to take away the cake. They do have cute package for take away cake although that's all. The cake's taste was average.

The elegant and iconic Café Sacher in Innsbruck is in the Hofburg Imperial Palace and it exudes old world Habsburg atmosphere with modern touches brought in with a 2011 refurbishment. The café is a successful combination of a wine bar, restaurant & café. It offers the opportunity to sample some Original Sacher-Torte but there are also many savoury dishes and a fabulous wine list. In the summer the quiet interior courtyard of the palace is a great venue for sampling some of our extensive selection of cocktails and liqueurs. Host Alexander Klapps and his team treat their guests to outstanding culinary delights. The combination of a café, wine bar and a high-class restaurant offers an impressive choice of creative and delicious dishes, combining innovation and tradition, accompanied by a fine selection of wines.
