The cafe is close to Golden roof, coffee did not disappoint and we do enjoyed the high tea but Sacher cake not as expected.

The good thing is the location, it is a nice place to have a cup of tea. However, I was very disappointed about the food, the cheese strudel was overcooked and the sachet cake was dry. I think they just keep the name now but don't make an effort on the cakes.

First time visited Cafe Sachet in Innsbruck recommended by my friends. We were there for afternoon tea on weekday where the cafe was not busy. The wall hanged with many famous persons’s photos and some with their signatures. The coffee and chocolate cakes both were good. The waiters were very polite and helpful. I like the original design and maintainance... More

Popular place for locals and tourists alike. The Sacher Torte is first rate but plenty of other choices including lunch fare etc. a bit of Viennese coffee house atmosphere. Just a few steps from the "Goldenen Dacherl"

Great Sacher cake as other Sacher places in Austria. But this one was much smaller without hotel....which made less attractive.

If you want a chocolate cake to die for, this is the place to go to in Innsbruck. Of course they get it direct from Vienna.

After a visit to the Innsbruck Hofburg, we visited Cafe Restaurant Sacher directly next to the entrance of the Hofburg. Sacher is well known for the famous Sacher torte. Sacher originates from Vienna where the Sacher Torte was created in hotel Sacher. The ambiance in cafe is very pleasant alike the Vienna cafe. Be warned though, ordering a piece of... More

We had a very disappointing evening meal at the Sacher. The place hangs on to some old grandure that my late grandmother would have appreciated but there is nothing grand about what they serve. The food is average at best and the strudel and kaiserschmarrn particularly disappointing. The staff are very polite and doing their best to lift things. There... More

We went for a late breakfast. Great coffee, lovely breads and croissants, an egg boiled to perfection, wonderful small jars of marmelade, a rich plate of ham an cheese - and cake! We loved it.

We stopped here for lunch and expected quality commensurate with the famous name. Sat outside on the patio, which was very quiet. We wrote it off to being a Monday lunch. We ordered, and after 20 minutes were told that our dishes which included dumplings, were not possible... no dumplings... I tried risotto with asparagus, no asparagus. I ended up... More

The elegant and iconic Café Sacher in Innsbruck is in the Hofburg Imperial Palace and it exudes old world Habsburg atmosphere with modern touches brought in with a 2011 refurbishment. The café is a successful combination of a wine bar, restaurant & café. It offers the opportunity to sample some Original Sacher-Torte but there are also many savoury dishes and a fabulous wine list. In the summer the quiet interior courtyard of the palace is a great venue for sampling some of our extensive selection of cocktails and liqueurs. Host Alexander Klapps and his team treat their guests to outstanding culinary delights. The combination of a café, wine bar and a high-class restaurant offers an impressive choice of creative and delicious dishes, combining innovation and tradition, accompanied by a fine selection of wines.
