About
The cafe terrace on the banks of the River Salzach is a perfect spot for coffee in spring and summer whilst the sumptuous interior ineffably blends the old world Sacher charm with modern comfort. As well as our much-loved desserts there’s also a variety of delicious savoury dishes to enjoy. At the Sacher Confiserie next-door to the cafe you can buy Original Sacher specialities and have them sent to friends and family members anywhere in the world.

Beautiful Cafe Sacher offers an amazing selection of delicious cakes such as the famous Sacher Torte which you must try. Nothing better than to have a great cup of freshly brewed good quality coffee (which I miss terribly here in America) and Sacher Torte after...More

Nice coffeehouse in Vienna style, one of the few in Salzburg which are also open in the evening. Good quality food, excellent service, beautiful interior.

As always, the Cafe Sacher provides an intimate and elegant experience, with excellent coffee and cakes, quite good food offerings (and not terribly expensive), fine service.

It was a nice experience, but a bit underwhelming with the food/drinks. It's definitely a highlight given the history and as a tourist attraction. Perhaps worth a visit at least once, but not sure if I'd plan on going again given the long lines and...More

Be prepared that you might wait in the queue for more than half an hour to get in.. Other than that, the cafe is beautiful and historic.
