Large beer hall dining room. The entrance to the right is to the section, to the left is to the non-smoking section. English menu and an efficient waiter. Food is well prepared and very tasty. Waiter split the bill 3 ways without any fuss.

Our tour included lunch at Klosterhof. The vegetarian lunch I had was very nice. A strudel filled a warm vegetables along with some soup. Service was good and the beer was cold and served with a smile.

Visited this place twice within two days - dinner and lunch. Food was great (worthy 4/5 stars) and tipically Austrian. But I am rating this location (with a stunning beer garden) only 1/5 because of the very bad payment policy. Keep in mind it is...More

We spontaneously decided to have lunch at Klosterhof, it looked really nice to spend some time in their garden. Nobody really cared about us, we had to get our menu. But still, after 15 minutes, nobody helped us. By then some folk live music band...More

Have visited this place many times, it’s been a year from our last visit, on our return last week, we found the menu had been reduced down, we weren’t overly impressed with our meals. Basic and plain. If you want drinks and somewhere relaxing it’s...More

It was recommended by an Austrian friend. We had drinks and pretzels in the afternoon after walking around Linz, I had Austrian dark beer and friends had Stiegl Weisseo beers which are all very good. We decided to go back for dinner later. Two friends...More

If you want traditional Austrian food and to avoid the tourist traps on the main square of Linz, just go a little further and find this restaurant across the Ursulines' Church in Landstrasse. They have a nice beergarden in the courtyard and offer drafted beer...More

My last night in Linz took me to the Klosterhof and it’s beer garden. It’s not exactly hidden but is still a highlight of good value food and drink in Linz. I ordered the grapefruit radler beer in the beautiful beer garden and enjoyed white...More
