If you are looking for a famous Linzer torte, do not look further. That’s the place. We did buy several Linzers to take home. If you have time you can join their crew for making a cake yourself (I regret we didn’t)

first the place was inside without any air flow in a very hot day. the coffee was quite mediocre . the tarte was good but it would have been less dry with some fresh crea. overall not very exciting
They take credit card! The coffee was delicious and the Linzer Torte was delicious. Service was great. Will go back if in Linz again. Very clean bathrooms as well.

Recommended by a local friend, the cafe has decent (not amazing) coffee and is home to the Linzer Torte, apparently one of the oldest cakes in the world. A nice little place to start the day.
