The food is really good and the English speaking staff is very helpful as well as the menu in English. You get a lot of food and you can choose between a smaller or a normal meal. Service is a little bit poor as we had to order our dessert twice, and it took quite a long time until we... More

It's noisy, with the TV always on, but it's a real family place, the waiters are vey nice and the fish perfectly grilled, maybe the best in the Azores. It's not expensive at all and you feel like in a "tasca" in Lisboa but in the middle of the ocean. The ananas mousse was delicious, unfortunately the other desserts were... More

Apetizers were very good. We took mixed grilled fish they did not ask what kind of fish we wanted. It was good but too many bones, we should have asked for boneless. I understand the comments about service. They are more friendly with portuguees people I think because most of the waitresses do not speak English. Service is not like... More

A real seafood specialty restaurant. Our friends had been here before and so we wnt. The food did not disappoint. The decor is plain like many good seafood restaurants I have been to. The ocean was serving up a storm with breakers at the small harbor entrance which added some drama to the visit.

Having travelled to the Far East of the island and found no where appealing to eat, we hit the main road back to Lagoa. Ended up by the port and found a couple of restaurants. Do not be put off by the plastic chairs outside and make a bee line for the raised restaurant closer to the harbour wall, we... More

The kitchen is very simple but they are master to grill the fish. Be carefull for the children plate, 1/2 is really enought !!! Azores... More

The fish selection was good, some menu items were not available but that is often the case when fish is fresh. Food was excellent, good portions. Staff was uninterested, they had a tour group that took most of their attention and Portuguese speakers had a better chance to get their attention.
