Best food we have eaten in Iceland. Really struggled to find any decent food until we came across this place. Great service, great food! If I ever return to Iceland would definitely come here again 👌

Being as Iceland is known for its sea food and Lamb, our goal was to eat foods indigenous to the country. We almost didn't eat here as we wanted to try something downtown, but it was too close to a scheduled excursion, and this place is just a few doors down from the Reyjkavic Lights hotel, where we were staying,... 5 min walk from our hotel - hotel island. Found the food to be excellent and service was quick. Partner quoted best burger she has ever had! My ribs were also excellent. I was entitled to salad bar with mine but she wasn't (not sure why). Salad was very good and fresh, plenty of choice. Very expensive but probably inline... More

Last night in Iceland. Didn't have to book a table and we were not disappointed. Free soup and salad when you are having a main meal. Everything delicious. Did not order the foal, but my travelling companion did. Apart from the fact it was so rare it almost walked off the plate she thoroughky enjoyed it. I tried a little... More

After a day of sightseeing in downtown Reykjavik we were trekking back to our hotel, found and decided to try this restaurant without reading any reviews in advance. It turned out to be an excellent choice with well prepared Icelandic specialties in generous portions. A good choice if you are located in the area that has the Island Hotel, Reykjavik... More

This is essentially a bar, but the food is very good. We ate here twice. The first time for a lunch I had an OK hamburger, but the dinner later in our stay is what I want to mention. I found it outstanding. I had a lamb filet that was without doubt the finest lamb I have had. Now, to... More

We celebrated a birthday dinner here and enjoyed the food. All entrees came with soup and salad bar, The meal was very good - two of us had the grilled salmon and two had the pan fried cod...all very good.

We ate here twice during our second visit yo Iceland and would definately return. The salad bar is to be seen to be believed. The soup we had both nights was lovely. The staff are very attentive but not overbearing and we loved the atmosphere. Always busy we booked to make sure we got a table! All in all, perfect.
