Ate here with our family of three for a simple meal on our first day in Iceland. Our hotel is nearby (Bolholt apartments) and it was a quick walk to the restaurant. Food was ready fast and there were both vegetarian and meat options. The free bread and hummus were great while we waited for our meals. Paid around ISK5300... More

This restaurant adjoins the Reykjavik Lights Hotel and is good for dinner on the day of arrival. The soup and humus was tasty and filling and my family all really enjoyed the Madras meals. I was disappointed with my wrap which was tasty but cold not the fault of the menu just my choice. This is a good place to... More

A nice place to grab a bite. Had lots of vegetarian options, which is always a good find. Downstairs from Reykjavik Lights Hotel, so especially convenient if you're staying there.

We were staying at the Reykjavik lights hotel next door and ate twice here. Both times we had the fish of the day, this was baked and came with potatoes and salad. Super fresh fish, couldn't ask for better and reasonably priced! To top that you get complimentary bread, houmous and flavoured water. Super friendly staff too!

We arrived to a very wet and windy Thursday totally shattered after traveling through the night so didn't want to venture far. We saw the restaurant as we arrived at the hotel and thought we would give it a try. We are so glad we did. The Spanish chicken with salad was delicious and so much of it. Very reasonably... More

This on the other side of Reykjavik Lights hotel!!! We had fish of the day - which was halibut! It was beautiful! My plate I felt was overloaded with food although my partner ate the lot! Free bread was also delicious and we found the butter pats twice the size of the British ones! Fellow travellers had Ling the following... More

This is like having Mom cook you a warm, comforting meal. The limited menu varies somewhat each day. You order at the counter, and the friendly staff brings you the dinner plate full with food. I had the Mexican chicken which came with brown rice, salad greens, beets, and broccoli. Bread and hummus are complimentary and absolutely delicious. Plain water... More

Popped in for lunch as very near to our hotel. The food is good and hearty - we had soup and quiche with local salad. Help yourself to bread and water to go with with you other food and drinks. Clean with open friendly service it's easy to see why it's so popular.

Dropped in for dinner. Great service and food. Had Tom soup which was similar to tomato bisque. Large portion and great bread! Friends had salad and chicken and rice. It to was great. Nice flavors.

Just had an early evening meal at Kruska, having wanted something healthy and fresh for dinner and it was just that. Lovely staff and very tasty food.
