The food was brilliant, very well presented, stylish and the taste was so special, we ate there twice and both evenings where spectacular, we visited other resturants and in my view try the hotel because you are in for a real treat! The seafood starter and the ribs where super, for mains the lamb was very special and the "catch... More

Service was great however the meal itself was pricy and not that appetizing. The bread and butter were great. You can see the chef preparing your meal if seated in the right area. Ambiance is average.

Stayed in the hotel and eat there once. Expensive and the meal was not that memorable except for the the whale appetizer.

The food was just ok and over priced like all food in Iceland. I found their hours to be erratic. It seems like they would open and close whenever they were not busy, which isn't how you run a hotel restaurant. The room service would also close early. They were open for breakfast every day consistently. I recommend eating elsewhere... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at just a couple of hundred yards away. The breakfast when compared to the Hotel Borg was phenomenal. Granted, it is not that great by international standards, but by Icelandic standards it must be one of the best. We had a great breakfast experience before we ever took... More

The staff is friendly enough but the quality of service in the restaurant was disappointing. The waiter spoke no Icelandic at all and though courteous he was clearly not trained. With the restaurant almost empty (only 3 tables occupied on a Saturday night) one would have expected more. We had a prepaid special-offer 3 course meal consisting of fish soup,... More

Worst service ever - please stop your bar service - it took up to 30 minutes to get 3 mojitos 2 long island icetea and 1 red wine. And there were no other customers ! Which I understand now :/

We stayed at this hotel - so this bar was a good place to end the day. Good selection of spirits and cocktails.

Enjoyed my one night stay here. Convenient location within walking distance of many sights in Reykjavik. Comfortable room with modern décor.

The food was good and the restaurant has a classy ambiance. Service was fine but the prices were steep.
