We arrived at 6:45 am and needed somewhere to get a good cup of coffee and breakfast while waiting for our Airbnb. A native Icelander recommended Sandholt and we were so glad he did. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of Skyr and granola and a...More

Amazing breakfast! Get there early to avoid the wait or get some of their pastries to go. We stayed at the 41A Hotel across the street (which was amazing as well) and would stop by Sandholt in the morning before we started on our excursions.

The Sandholt bakery has great coffee and croissants. It is a nice place for breakfast or for coffee and pasteies through the day. Free wifi.

We stayed at a hotel across the street. We went here every day we were in Reykjavik. We ate breakfast, then bought some sandwiches to take with us on the road. The quality was excellent and the pastries were out of this world.

Stopped by on a recommendation from a blog. So very very wonderful. Great lattes, promo desserts. Cinnamon roll was exquisite and the apple cake reminded me of the famous Netherlands ones. Lovely space w an outdoor courtyard and a glass wall facing into the kitchen...More

We stopped for a delicious breakfast at Sandholt Bakery, which is regarded as one of the best bakeries in Iceland. You won't get any argument from me!

This was probably my favorite overall restaurant. If you can get in (its a small place and they can be super busy), food is delicious, service was quick, and reasonable prices.

Great start for the day. Their toast with butter and jam, simple yet perfect. Good coffee too! If tempted by their Danish, take one for the road.

Like most food in Iceland, it's expensive. 2 coffees, 2 cappucino and two muffins was about $30 USD
