We were on our way to a museum and saw the TripAdvisor signage and decided to stop for lunch. One of our party of two had the salmon--it was extremely well prepared and included salmon, assorted roasted root vegetables, thinly sliced pickles, sprouts (radish?) and a potato stack. The other person had a satisfying risotto. The service was pleasant. Food... More

We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat. It has a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is great. We had the mussels and chips which were quite spicy. We were also served with tasty bread and a strange green sauce which is actually very tasty with the bread. Highly... More

We stumbled across this restaurant on our first night in Reykjavik and had two very tasty meals. The bread they served before the food was absolutely delicious!! I would highly recommend the mussels and the salmon dish. They were generous portions and they had a happy hour while we were there so we got good priced drinks with the food.... More

Being from Chicago, when I see a restaurant named "Uno" I'm intrigued. Even in Iceland. To be sure, you won't find Chicago deep dish pizza here. But after eating here twice this week-one with the Mrs and the other with a group of 12 on a photography tour-I can safely say this scores on all counts. The location is ideal.... More

We had not book & had to wait 20 mins for a table, but the waitress showed us to a sofa area & we had drinks & looked at the menu, which was nice & relaxed. Lovely fresh food & a good choice. Very much enjoyed our meal.

Had reservation for 9:30. Arrived at 10 and the restaurant was practically empty. Servers were amazing. But quite disappointing that an Italian restaurant doesn't serve pasta. We asked for the risotto and they were done for the night. We didn't bother ordering our dinner after that left. Enjoyed our apps and drink ... Too bad because we went somewhere else... More

Dropped in with a hangover, looking for somewhere nice to have a restorative cup of tea. This place fit the bill well. Comfy seating, good tea, and a good vantage point to watch the world go by while waiting for the headache to stop...

Our first evening in Reykjavik, after it had snowed 20inches that morning. After being turned away from 3 restaurants because we didn't have a reservation for a Sunday evening, we found Restaurant Uno. There was no wait, and we had a table by the window and were entertained by watching people trying to walk on the frozen streets, as we... More

Great food, we both really enjoyed our meals and had a great window seat to watch the heavy snowfall. Good happy hour with variety of drinks on offer. In all places we went (Uno included) all the staff were so clued in about Gluten Free and what you can/can't eat which for my other half is a medical must! They... More
