Arrived around 6pm on the basis that we wanted to eat early and avoid the rush that Saturday night crowds. We were seated very quickly with a window table. Food choice was wide and varied. When the main course arrived it was very well presented and delicious. Similarly, the dessert was wonderful. Good value by Icelandic standards and would strongly... More

We called in without a reservation and luckily were seated right away - we got the last table. The food is superb, I had the pan-fried haddock and without doubt one of the best pieces of fish I have ever tasted. Fairly standard Reykjavik prices but nevertheless excellent value.

Last night meal after a long day on a tour. Very relaxing atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. In Icelandic terms the prices were pretty reasonable for the quality and amount of food

Called on a wet Monday of a bank holiday weekend!! Had not planned to eat here but it turned out very well!! This was my third trip to Iceland and the place is and has gotten so expensive!! That aside, everyone pays the same, no matter what the price !! Place was very busy for a bad night which was... More

We really enjoyed our food here. It was about £84 for 2 main courses & a shared starter & desert plus 2 soft drinks. I had the fish & chips, but had a baked potato instead of chips (which was a mistake, the chips looked AMAZING) because I was so fed up of chips by the time we ate here.... More

After a trip to the South Coast, we ate at Harry's upon our return to the city. We were a party of 5 (with children aged 8, 5 and 2) and were provided with a large corner table. The menu has some items that are not found in many restaurants around Reykjavik - my wife had curry while I had... More

We dropped in one afternoon for happy hour. My husband enjoyed the Viking beer! It was a quiet and friendly establishment. We decided to come back again during our week in Iceland for dinner this time. We did not have to wait for a table. We were seated and the waiter took our drink order. Another waiter came for our... Last night of our trip, so we all piled in to a warm friendly little restaurant. The service was excellent, as was the food. Portion are huge, so excellent value. The only reason I couldn't quite finish my excellent fish was that that there was loads of it. I sampled the lamb shank which was also amazing and perfect for... More

I had Harry's Fish & Chips and my husband had fillet steak. Both excellent. In fact we're likely to go back again tomorrow.

We visited Harry's after being told that a table would be ready for 8pm. Upon arrival the table was still being used so the staff member apologised and offered the four of us a free drink each.Being Iceland this was an offer we were not going to turn this down ! The meal was excellent. We all had different starters,... More
