We had a Sushi experience and it was pretty good but not great. The prices there are a little bit high and the Service was not special. There are better places for fish in Iceland

The food : i ordered an artic char with seafood. The scallop is good, but the rest of the dish is lukewarm and tastes ordinary. The service : it was early lunch time at about noon and there were planty of empty seats. I was assigned to a table that wobbled, so i had to put some papers underneath a... More

The seafood and fish lovingly prepared by the chefs at this restaurant were simply the best such mean myself and my partner have ever had. We ate there 23rd May but sadly didn't leave enough time to savour the flavours and the quality of the food as much as we could. Staff took the time to explain the ingredients and... More

This is a really lovely restaurant with all the tricks - smears, soil, and sputum (froth) but I avoided all that and had a fabulous meal. We both had the sushi dish and then the lamb. All was delicious and I avoided the ubiquitous Japanese mayonnaise (not necessary for my palate). The bill for two was isk2985 which included an... More

We tried a few high-end restaurants during our staying in Iceland. This, was, by far, the most satisfying, mouth watering meal we had. We stopped for lunch on the day we were leaving and by the end of our meal regretted not coming the previous days. At lunch prices are a bargain (30 euros each) considering dinner's and the food... this was the first place we ate after arriving in Iceland. It was recommended by our hotel. We were pretty happy with it. Good service, English speaking pleasant waiters, interesting building. Bread and water were briskly brought; entrees were fresh innovative and well prepared. Would recommend.

Had dinner here on our first night in Reykjavik and chose the "Around Iceland" 4 course dinner which was one of the best meals of our lives. It's hard to say which course was the best because each was so fantastic--fresh, creatively prepared, beautifully presented and very nicely explained by our servers. Great wine selections too. Highly recommend The Fish... More

In each city / country we visit we want to taste the local foods. The Fish Company is the perfect place to taste local foods in several dishes. The restaurant has two tasting menus and I would definitely recommend those. Everything served had amazing flavor with great presentation. Ambience and presentation are great! We went to the restaurant after a... More
