Dill was highly recommended and did not disappoint. I had made reservations weeks before our trip was fully booked. It is a tasting menu only restaurant and my group chose the 5 course over the 7, and did the wine pairing. The staff is knowledgeable without being pretentious. The food is traditional ingredients but prepared in very sophisticated ways. It... More

The presentation was great and the tasting was fairly good the food tasted fresh and the preparation was done fairly well however I was turned off by our server who was very rude and I felt our meal and courses seemed rushed the tasting experience is suppose to be savored they were taking plates to fast that weren't finished and... I found this restaurant rather stiff and pretentious, not making for a relaxed ambience. The food was interesting, but not what I might expect for a Michelin Star. It is very expensive, even by Iceland standards but I'm just not sure that it lives up to the hype. The interior is very dark and intimate and looks like the kind of... More

Absolutely wonderful. I felt guilty about paying so much for a meal but after I was finished, I realized I had just been treated to one of life's pleasures - a sumptuous meal with perfect wine pairings in the historic Nordic House. I'll never forget the experience

We really enjoyed Dill. Each one of the seven courses were delicious and memorable. Great place for fine dining in a relaxed, modern atmosphere.

This was a very memorable dinner. As anyone who made a reservation, which any person should have realize it before even entering this place, there is a set menu of five or seven course meal with either wine selection or paring. The food is not your conventional North American type but rather innovative Scandinavian alternative type food, which may not... More

Terrible food! Overrated hyped "fine good restaurant". If you are planning to go there, you will be dissatisfied with almost every dish. They make you feel like it is near impossible to get reservation, and when you order your course menu, you get food that is either tasteless, salty, or nausea inducing food. Thank god we ordered five course menu,... More

Great atmosphere, small place and cozy. Not a lot of people fit in there which is nice. We had the 7 course meal with wine tasting. Some dishes were weird and beautiful, but not the greatest tasting, but every single course was a taste explosion rarely experienced before or after. Fantastic service and personal, open to questions and banter. The... More

This restauraunt lives up to its reputation. We had the five-course tasting menu on New Year's Eve. Each course was superb and beautifully presented. The wine pairing with each course was excellent and, in some cases, quite surprising. The service was wonderful. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The staff's knowledge of the cuisine and wines was quite impressive.... More

I am not a fine diner and don't know a lot about Icelandic cuisine so the set testing menu with drink pairings at Dill was the perfect place to learn everything. Every course was AMAZING and the butter and bread may change your life. We had a wonderful server who taught us a lot about the food, wine, and Icelandic... More
