We came here during a 3 night stay in Reykjavik. Staff were welcoming and showed us to our table that we had pre-booked. The restaurant was warm and cosy after being out on the cold street! Food was delicious, and there was good choice on...the menu. It was reasonably priced too.More

We only wanted a main course, the fish and chips were delicious, others had the fish soup which again was really good.

Came with a group of friends and had the most expensive gin and tonic in the world!! We thougt we were paying for three drinks when the price was just for one. The service was not good either when we pointed out this ridiculous overprized...drink. I would recommend another bar for drinks.More

We came in with group of friends, about 20 people. We ordered drinks, double gin and tonic. The price of the drinks was out of this world. When We tried to talk to the bartender to point out that the price could not be wright...she was not very interested in hearing us out. We are all Icelanders and found it very offending how they are overpriceing visitors who come to Iceland. I recomend going to another bar.More

I had never visited this restaurant before even though I live only three minutes away and I will definitely be going back for more. I had a very lovely waitress named Paulina who seated me right away and took my order. Her persona was very...nice and true plus the Béarnaise sauce burger and fries were awesome!!! Five stars for the great food and service!!!More

We had here the worst dinner and most expensive hamburgers in Iceland and perhaps the world! The total for two truffle burgers and one ice cream cup with two scoops came to KR$9.170 (CAD$92.00). The burgers tasted so sharp with a super hot sauce that...was almost impossible to eat. My eating companion coughed at every bite and opted to just eat the lamb slice. The ice cream cup was just an ordinary scoop of vanilla with some commercial chocolate syrup over it and some very scanty pieces of commercially frozen berries. One of our worst meals ever, and I have travelled to very many countries and places! Not recommended.More

Excellent place for an upscale dinner with young kids. Laura, our server, was amazing with our kids and the food was great. Highly recommend. They have a childrens menu (and crayons).

We stopped here on the way back to our hotel to escape the cold and get a warm drink. The waitress took our order and recommended the selection of cakes on display, we ordered two slices of the caramel cake and quickly regretted the decision....It was beyond stale and the ‘chocolate ganache’ on the top was totally inedible. The waitress thought it’d be a good idea to bring a jug of water jokingly saying ‘I think you’ll need this’ and at that point we just decided to settle the bill and leave, terrible service and cakes older than the aurora, don’t make the same mistake as us unless you’ve got a good dentist back home!More

Visited Brass kitchen for a quick cake and tea while in Reykjavík and it was fantastic. I loved the cakes on offer and the Raspberry stacked cake was amazing. They did have one gluten and lactose free cake which is great. The place was super...clean and the staff were very helpful which is a thing I've always noticed with restaurants based at hotels. Would love to visit for a proper meal and taste the food on offer, might do it before we leave.More
