This is a really nice place with friendly staff and great food. Their specialty is fish and the fish soup was especially tasty.

Had dinner here while staying in Husavik as this restaurant was highly recommended for its fish soup and affordable prices. Glad to say we were not disappointed a bit. First hotel had a charming ambiance, its in a building which looks like a house. Service...More

Our group had langoustine, fish soup, char, and the vegan main dishes. The sides included vegetables, salad, and fresh bread. Everything was delicious with excellent presentation. The fish soup is a bit spicy, but can warm your body in the cool rainy day. The fish is very tender and with lots of vegetables. Unlike the normal Icelandic food, it is not very salty.

We stayed across the street from this restaurant. Did not have a reservation but they seated us promptly. Service was excellent as was the food. Our favorite was the rhubarb cake! We would definitely recommend a meal here!!

We were there in August so I am not sure. May seems a good month for visiting the island so I suppose they are, but I recommend to email them directly!
