Absolutely wonderful langoustine meal! I still dream about the meal I had here. Restaurant atmosphere and service were also sublime.

We spent 9 days in Iceland and this is the only restaurant we came back to twice. The langoustines are to die for. I wouldn't bother with anything else, just order langoustine tails and enjoy how they are grilled to sweet juicy perfection. You don't even need their sauces, they are perfect on their own. I'm not a big eater... More

When in Hofn, you must eat at this restaurant. They offer many different dishes with langoustine (baby lobster) and other seafood. We tried the langoustine bisque, langoustine banquette, and salted cod. All dishes were delicious. The service was very good. It is a tad on the expensive side, but Iceland isn't known for inexpensive food.

Delicious food! It was pricy but worth it! We had fun trying to figure out what was in their 'black magic' sauce served with the langoustine and even passed notes through our waitress to the chef to guess his secret ingredients! He never caved ... and we are left still wondering! Would certainly return if ever in the region again!

It was pricey but well worth the experience! You don't get to eat Langoustine everyday. We had langoustine pizza, some duck dish which was so soft and had a mild sweet taste, some salted fish salad which was the best salad I've ever had! Don't be afraid if you don't want to pronounce some strange words in the menu because... More

We had a choice between two popular restaurants in town and chose this because some folks on our tour group didn't have positive reviews about the other restaurant. The langoustine at this restaurant was delicious. Fresh, sweet and tasty. The bread was also delicious, as is most bread in Iceland. The wait staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Really pleased... More

We felt we just had to get the langoustine while in Hofn, so we came here. The restaurant is nice enough and the food was good, but honestly, it was just so overpriced in hindsight. I am from the US and eat lobster often and it costs a fraction of this. The langoustine were no better than average lobster and... More

Loved this restaurant! Langoustine was cooked to perfection. The staff were warm & friendly. One of our best experiences dining in Iceland.

We checked in at the Hofn hotel for the night on 10/2/16 and we couldn’t wait to get out and have something to eat. The only reason I write reviews for TriAdvisor is that I value the contribution that others make and rely on them to make choices wherever I travel. Very rarely I get disappointed when I search for... More

All food in Iceland is pricey but this is worth it. The langoustine was lovely - all 3 of us had the langoustine tails for the main course. We also had the asparagus starter which was amazing. I will come back here for sure!!
