I went there with my wife. I chose the wolffish in pepper-cream sauce and it was unnessecarily delicious. Nice big portions. Definitely coming back!

Food is expensive in Iceland not much is local but the cold Icelandic waters provide great seafood. Tilveran prepares it well. It isn't foodie/fussy but is cooked right. Very satifying

I visit this place regularly. Always have fish and being a fisherman, I know good quality and freshness of fish. In short, I've never had better fish at other restaurants. It is also cheaper than in downtown Reykjavík since it is located 10-15 minutes from dt Reykjavík.

It was so fresh I could picture tham catching it while we waied. The mushroom soup to start was amazing, some secret infgredient I couldn't figure out, but that gave... More

It is a small restaurant, but we had a perfect late dinner. The lobster Soup is delicious! We had the catch of the day and it was the best we had during our stay in Reykjavik. Yes, it is expensive for European standards, but actually very acceptable compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood

It's all about personal taste, but having read the rave reviews, my partner & I were keen to try the lobster soup. We went for lunch & settled on the 2 course set meal which consisted of a 'soup of the day' & either a fish or a meat dish. The soup was a 'creamy carrot' but for an extra... More

After a long day of touring, we stopped by for a wonderful dinner. We started with lobster soup with huge lobster pieces! Next was Cod in a butter wine sauce, with veggies. We ended with a delicious chocolate cake. The restaurant is quiet, priced like most of Iceland, mid ranged..... can't wait to go back....

When I visit Iceland I try to go to this restaurant to enjoy with the excellent fish they cook. It is a relaxing place, near the Hafnarfjordour harbour. Very recomendable.

Had a great catch of the day, seafood, dinner. Came with lobster soup, bread, veggie and dessert. Good service, clean, in the shopping center near a bus stop that goes directly to the town centre.

Thank Amy S
