We were hungry and wanted seafood and waited too long to eat so we pretty much settled for eating here and boy were we glad we ate here! Great cocktails, great bread with a tomato paste sauce, yummy sushi, salt cured cod, soup, and dessert. I could have licked the bowl! Great find!

Solo lunching - soup, salad and coffee. All well and fine. Price is not to bad, healty local traffic during lunch helps with normal prices.

Iceland is a very expensive place to eat for fine dining. Typical pricing is about $100 per person if you get one drink with dinner. Our meal was good. We shared (2) apps and (2) entrees and each had a cocktail/beer. The service was good, the food was tasty. They went a little overboard on the plating, very busy and... More

Arrived during lunch. The place was packed but the waitress seemed to have it all under control. Reccomed the pizzas.

I found myself in the small fishing village of akranes, A rather hidden place close to reykjavík. Finding myself riddled with hunger i stumbled onto this local restaurant, the setting of the place was very modern and the atmosphere very relaxed. As a starter i ordered the pan-fried saltfish and what a culinary journey it was, the beautiful marriage between... More

We ordered langoustine pizza and asparagus soup. The soup was fine, but the PIZZA!!! OMG! It was phenomenal! It came with a "salad" on top and was the best pizza I've ever had. This place was a little out of our way, but I was glad we came.

As Americans we immediately loved the clean, uncomplicated Scandinavian lines of the decor. We were sure the food would be the same and it was. Beautifully presented and delicious. We started with a small cheese and tomato pizza. It was fresh with the right proportions of cheese and sauce. If you're a pizza aficionado do not expect New York style.... More

I was able to book for a large group (17 people) in advance. The chef was willing to work with me to prepare a fixed menu for our group and accommodated our various dietary restrictions. The meal was the best that we had in Iceland. The wait staff were very professional and we had an excellent experience. Each course was... More
