This is a must to do on a nice day, walk or drive up to Pyynikki, you can skip the view from the tower but you cannot skip the donuts. The cafe is always full, the donuts are always warm and they simply are the best in town.

Best doughnuts in town. Beautiful surroundings in the middle of the town. Pick a beautiful summer day and enjoy the place.

A lovely spot on a top of a hill, which in fact is the word's tallest natural gravel stone heights. The cafe and the belvedere, dating back to 1920s, have an ambient of some romantic old times and serves the famous donut which is dipped in grease and sugar. The scenery on a ridge between two great lakes is stunningly... More

The coffeebar is fine and serves delicious (if not very healthy) doughnuts. The other fare is average. If the weather permits, it's worth sitting outsie as the interior is rather cramped. A visit to the top of the tower is highly recommended. The view over the park and the big lakes is very impressive. Walk up if you have the... More

This place has the best doughnuts in the city and maybe in the country. The view is also nice but the additional payment for it is a bit unnecessary. Coffee is not the best but goes very well with the "munkki"

A very nice cafe in the picturesque national scenic area of Pyynikinharju. The best munkki in the world, period. They also have their own coffee, not bad at all.

My coffee was served already cold. Didnt taste like anything. There were no coffee spoons,no paper, nothing. Even milk cream was finished. There were only two workers for a big amount of customers, waiting at the tiny small entrance packed like sardines.

Stopped here for a cup of coffee and the famous Pyynikin munkki. Perfect match with a great overlooking view to Näsijärvi.

We just took a quick stroll in the Pyynikki recreational park area and decided to stop for a cup of tea. I have reserved the first doughnut of the year to be enjoyed at the end of a school semester with my sons. We have had this tradition since 1997 and never missed a year. Lucky man I am and... More

Café at the Pyynikki observation tower (Pyynikin näkötorni) serves the best doughnuts (munkki) in the city. During the summer months and weekends throughout the year it can be quite busy. It is open every day. The visit to the top of the observation tower is also rewarding.
