Visited this place with a friend who invited us for lunch. The food was delicious and tasty. The portions were sumptuous, I could hardly finish my meal. The masala chai was cherry on the cake.
Friendly and fast service and very good lunch prices (9 EUR/meal). I would come back to try from their daily changing lunch menu. I also highly recommend.

Polite and fast service. Nice and clean.
Nepalese food was delicious, just a right amount of spices.
We had Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala.
I do recommend this Nepalese Cuisine!

We eat here regularly - the food is delicious, the portions good sized and the service is always friendly. Chicken Karachi is my favourite.

I had a really excellent lunch at Makalu today! Food was really tasty. The service was also very friendly, fast and good. Based on my visit I consider Makalu as a very high quality Nepalese restaurant.

Excellent food, amazing staff.
Nice location in the center of Malmi.
Prices are okay. We have never left the restaurant hungry.

This is our favorite Nepalese resteurant in Helsinki. It is located in the Malmi suburb, close to the Malmi commuter train station.
I recommend especially the Fish chili (pike perch in hot sauce) and Special chicken karai (tandoor grilled chicken and paneer cheese in a milder sauce). Our kids enjoy Butter chicken or Chicken curry.

This restaurant has the best Nepalese food, you can't find any better from Finland. And also their prices are really affordable so it's good place for families too.

Good food, excellent service, and a bit suburb looking place. Probably one of the best Nepalese restaurants in Helsinki. Suitable location nearby the Malmi railway station. Worth a visit.

We are regural visitors at Makalu. My absolute favorite foods at Makalu are vegetarian the foods with cheese- I recommend those! Friendly staff. Thank you!
