Had a quick breakfast at this place before visiting the Finnish museum of photography nearby. The service was Ok and the sandwiches, coffee and smoothie was fresh. Nice industrial decor. If you’re in the neighbourhood, this place opens early and offers lunch too.

Very good lunch in nice surroundings. Pricing was also decent. The food was tasty, service efficient and there were plenty of tables available.

Perfectly fresh. Perfectly filling. Perfectly good. What a lunch! Located in the Cable Factory collection of galleries, museums, and artist workspaces a bit away from the city center, but walkable and with good transit, Hime & Sali offers terrific homey food and drinks. With its...up-to-the-minute styled patrons and servers and fabulous, industrial-chic décor, the restaurant could come off as too trendy for its own good, but don’t hold that against it. Beneath the trendiness, you will find probably the most incredible cafeteria in the world serving food that is as fresh as it is delicious. The superb salad bar comes with sensational bread and the marvelously crunchy Finnish crackers that I eat at home. Perfectly suited to the cold and rainy day we visited, the ample pasta dishes warmed us from the inside out and the pea soup has to be the very best that I’ve ever had. Easily. Lots of other options too; plus, beer and wine as well. The desserts looked delectable, but we were too full to try them. So, if you are in or near the Cable Factory and want a snack or a meal or if you just want a terrific eating experience for its own sake, you need look no further.More

Hima ? Sali is not coziest restaurant but served well for our breakfast meeting. It is spacious, has good coffee selection, smoothies, quiet background music and well working free WiFi - this makes it a very good meeting place.

Great place for business lunches. Cheap and above all there is the possibility to create your own plate of spaghetti or rice choosing among many ingredients. Also the choice of salads is excellent. To try. Low prices and quality!

A decent lunch cafe/restaurant at the cultural centre Cable Factory that serves an affordable lunch, also in weekends. Salmon soup costs €7.50 and the price includes salad and bread. Salmon soup was fine, but I would’ve preferred fresher salmon rather than those industrial cubes. Salad...table was good. The restaurant has more space than it seems so don’t hesitate to go further inside. It continues round the corner and has also another counter in a larger dining hall in the back.More

Hima & Sali is not a place where you can enjoy a quiet after-lunch as the place is very popular, it gets crowded very quickly for lunch and seats are at a premium at that time. Other than that, it is a pleasant place and...the food is good. I like their ordering system, whereby you find your table and seat and - if you stick to some of the day's dishes - you don't need to queue at the self-service counter, but your food is taken to you. The salad buffet to accompany your meal is also very diverse and abundant.More

After strolling around the Cable Factory and visiting some of the galleries therein we were delighted to repair here for a welcome pick-me-up. We had a sourdough bread sandwich and a slice of cake. With coffee and cappuccino all were very tasty. It has a...most relaxing ambiance. Combined with the friendly and cordial atmosphere, it was a pleasant interlude.More

Basic lunch restaurant. Walk in and walk then forward where the buffet is located. Bonus: you can design your wok and select the ingredients by yourself! Nice. First time visitors - look firts around to find all you want (bread, salad, water). Pay first. Because...of the nearby offices the place may be crowded.More

Kaapelitehdas (former cable factory) houses myriad of cultural activities from museums to galleries, from circus to interesting events. You should definately visit! And whilst there, Hima&Sali offers a nice, value for...money option for your lunch/dinner or a cup of coffee with cake.More

This cafe is located in the "kaapelitehdas" area with nice views of the sea. The decor is industrial -style, which suits well for a restaurant in an old industrial building. I just had tea and a pastry, but the lunch menu and late lunch soup...looked good. The tea selection was not very good, they did have some brewed tea, but as it was a strange mix of black and green I opted for the boring teabags. However, as the pastry selection (savoury as well as sweet) looked pretty good it is worth the visit if you are in the area. Not really worth to come just for the cafe/restaurant though...More
