We went to this lovely, local, well established bistro before going on to the Vasa exhibition. We had the dish of the day which we thought was good value washed down with a glass of Sancerre. A great atmosphere and obviously a popular local for many.

This restaurant is owned by one of Swedens famous chefs, his food is as good as it gets! Its also nice that he tours his restaurants and greats the guests. A personal touch that is so appreciated! His food is quite Swedish, with they eye for details and using the best ingredients. The staff are very knowledgable and an evening... More

Attentive service in a cozy place good for both for lunch and dinner. The dishes are at top level and well presented. They really aim at quality. The daily lunch meny special is a bargain. As others have already found this place long time ago, better reserve a table

We had a lovely meal at Eriks. The food was all excellent - especially the whole turbot - but we were even more impressed by the service, which was attentive to the needs of both adults and children. This feels like a good quality local restaurant, so we felt like we were being allowed to enjoy a local secret rather... More

Cosy, little but not squeezed. Food tasty but expensive. Not a lot to choose from you can add extra money and turn a starter to a main. A few to few choices for my tastes

This is the place to go if you want to enjoy excellent food off the beaten track. Classic Swedish dishes on the menu and a wide selection of good wines. Staff is very friendly and contributes to creating a top quality but relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the food and the service! I felt like a local dining here...very comfortable and everything tasted great...I know he has a more upscaled restaurant, but this was exactly what we were looking for...I liked the atmosphere, but not very lively

We went here for a pre theatre dinner. The food was great but the service, although kind, was kind of slow. We had a really nice evening though and I would definitely come back for the food. They have a large wine list with a wide selection of wines in different price ranges.

Description
Eriks Restaurants, now a Stockholm phenomenon, started just down the road from here on a boat on Strandvgen.

It is therefore entirely appropriate that Eriks Bakficka is located where it is, a stone's throw from the bridge over to Djurgrden. Eriks Bakficka is located on the lower ground floor and has the charming ambience of a neighbourhood restaurant.

The menu takes in Swedish classics such as beef and potato dish Biff Rydberg, as well as seasonal raw ingredients. The restaurant seats ninety people, and guests often remark on how they appreciate that the waiting staff often recognise them after just a few visits. When Eriks Bakficka becomes your regular haunt, you know you are counted as a friend. It's as simple as that.
