The place is small but nice. Staff is friendly and considerate. I was there for lunch which had quite a few different options to choose from. I went for their grilled halloumi salad which was great! I will definitely return.

Had a very nice chevre sandwich with a delicate and fresh salad. Everything was freshly made and the staff was very nice. Going back for sure.

Visited Tasman as we didn't fancy the hotel breakfast. Sat in hotel room and searched nearby cafes. Tasman got good reviews so off we went in search of. It was hidden a little from the road due to work outside but nice when we'd found them, we weren't disappointed. Friendly girl talked us through our options, she was very cheerful... More

Apart from the great coffee, Tasman has delicious toasted sandwiches, salads, hot food and brunch food (hmm... The BLAT or scrambled eggs or pancakes or all three). The staff are super friendly and the service is exceptional by Swedish standards. As are the prices! They'll happily swap the bacon for smoked salmon, bring the food to you and you can... More

Great location, opposite the rock-faced edge of the park. Really good to have sun in the morning and shade in afternoon- we visited both times. Coffee is ace and best salad I can recall having. Staff are welcoming and personable. I wish we had this in England. Am still savouring my last coffee and will return! All best to you... More

Often as a vegetarian I feel slightly left out when there is only one thing on the menu I can order. When everyone's food arrives and I have a miserable looking 'mushroom with something' concoction I usually suffer from food envy, but not from Tasman Cafe :) This is right up my street, halloumi, quinoa, fresh salads and smoothies among... If I lived in Stockholm, I'd probably make this my cafe... good atmosphere, staff, and big brunch! Went here during Hillsong Conference Europe and ppl there were super friendly, and accomodating. Good brunch on offer!

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
