At lunchtime you can order a plate of different veggies dishes or, cheaper, a "sandwich" - which was a mound of different veggie salads and hummus piled onto a couple of pieces of rye bread. A cheap and cheerful lunch venue.

A good and varied range of dishes all of which tasted great. We were also impressed with the good value price. You pay for a plate and then tell the person serving behind the counter which of the dishes in the cabinet you want. Fairly functional service; not a great deal of smiling while we chose what we wanted. But... More

I had a nice lunch here with a friend last week. It’s an all-you-can eat type deal for one price that includes coffee or tea. The dishes were nicely spiced and the full plate was quite enough for hungry me! My friend went back for seconds. All of the food was vegetarian and most of it gluten free (watch out,... More

Who serves a tatsty vegetarian buffet for just 80 krones that too with a variety of 4 mains , sauces, bread, salad , coffee and many more. It is very easy to locate and probably 400 m from Mariatorget station , If I remember correctly. Staff is also very good and refill unlimited no of times.

I have eaten here many, many times over the last years and have never been disappointed. All-vegetarian, fresh, both warm and cold dishes and everything yummy. Excellent prices and friendly staff.

Sumptuous buffet, friendly personal and delicious food. Even the red wine was good. In spite of the street it is a nice place to sit outside. Seemed to me that many locals go there.

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
