We’ve been here twice. The first time was 2 years ago and we loved it so we came back. Everything has a delicious smokiness to it. Delicious meat, vegetables and breads. The chef’s counter is our favorite spot but all the seats are very nice.

This was undoubtedly a great meal, and if I hadn’t gone to Agrikultur the night before I might have been more impressed. Unfortunately, the courses were very similar to what we had eaten the night before and Agrikultur did it better. Ekstedt also had a...More

Niklas Ekstedt is indeed a very good and interesting (still) young Swedish chef. With his roots up in the north of Sweden and with great interest for cooking history (so he says himself on his homepage) he decided to "go back to the roots". Literary...More

I visited as usual solo, and I found an amazing team that really put their heart on the food they serve. The chef is not a visible presence at all, but the great team he has compensates enormously. Be sure not to be a picky...More

We decided to come as I had met the owner and watched him cook at Taste in London. Unfortunately, he was not there the evening we went. The principle of fire cooking is very interesting and makes the food taste quite different. We enjoyed it...More

What a team! Food and service was excellent! We sat in the bar, close to the open fire where they prepared the food. The vines was also very satisfied. It was the best of the best!!

The chef puts a lot of attention into details to make the ingredients shine on the plate. All dishes are cooked with wood fire giving them a well balance smokey taste. Simple things such as their homemade bread and butter are sensational. I highly recommend...More

Ekstedt is a Michelin star institution in Stockholm; the restaurant prides itself on cooking and roasting everything over open fire and that almost no electricity is used for the preparation of dishes. There is a set menu at SEK 990 with five courses, and every...More
