The idyllic scenery, the historical building, the Biergarten and the personal atmosphere created by the owners, and very moderate prices, makes this place a must go for a nice meal, a cup of coffee or a glass of nice beer imported from the Czech Republic.

I always like to eat in the area around Gröna Lund. It is a nice atmosphere and Lilla Hasselbacken is a nice place. Food and drinks are nice and it is not so expensive.

Beautiful cafe serving delicious typical swedish food and drinks. Located near the abba museum and the Skansen museum and next to the attraction park. Would recommend it.

Well, all important was already in the heading. The building is picturesque and beautiful and the food is mouth-watering good (not too expensive either!). But inside the restaurant is dated, would not be so nice to eat in there. Even bigger minus is the evasive...More

We stayed at a hotel nearby and ended up eating their for dinner on two occasions. The first was as part of the Midsommer celebration so they only had a buffet available at 250 SEK which I thought was a little high for what they...More

Food was poor and quite expensive for what you get. A beer was at the top end of the prices too Quite disappointed really as it was a great location - near all the museums - and advertised as one of the older traditional places...More

Description
THE HISTORY OF LILLA HASSELBACKEN Across the road from open-air museum Skansen, lies Lilla Hasselbacken, a classic restaurant and café that first opened its doors in 1866. In the green house it is easy to feel at home and the premises offer nostalgic photographs and paintings that recall past times. The central, yet calm, location on Royal Djurgården makes Lilla Hasselbacken a popular choice whether you want Swedish fika, lunch, dinner or just a drink.
