In a area crowded with pubs, the liffey is a very good option. Very nice live music on both floors. The burguers with french fries are quite acceptable

Worst Irish pub i've been in years. No sign of good food, friendly people or good music. Very rude staff and agressive bouncers. If you want to visit a good Irish pub in Stockholm, best to go to the Dubliner.

Great ambiance, lots of Irish guys, very multicultural. Food I got was very basic and too spicy although it was a dinner for an organization for about 100 people so I can't really judge. Beer was good !

Strategically located at the old town of Stockholm. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Packed with locals and tourists. Love the fish and chips... the fish was perfectly cooked and generous in portion. Thou the chips was too salty to my taste but it went down perfectly with the cold beer. The staff were nice and friendly.

Just what you'd expect from an Irish pub in a foreign country. Cozy and warm with great live music. There is a separate section for seating if you're going to be having a meal, and the cellar section is good if you want a bit of a quitter atmosphere. The food menu is a bit limited, but what you'd expect... More

Nice, clean, well maintained pub with friendly service. We went for drinks. The wife was uncertain as to which beer to pick, and the staff were friendly enough to give her a little beer-tasting of 4-5 different brands until she found her desired one. It's the little things like that which makes all the difference. Be sure to stop by... More

We ended up here after a mix up with the reservations elsewhere. The food was good, the drinks were good and the music was fantastic. A great night for our last night in stockolm. Wish we had found it sooner!

Thank Liz F

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
