Our visit started with a nice welcoming from the bartender upstairs. We were a party of 12 and had preordered a menu. The waiters dished out the food very quickly and without finesse. The food was ok but considering the high prices, you would expect...More

We come here from time to time with business guests, where people are often taken by the styling and heritage that Fem Små Hus has to offer. If you are looking for finer dining, this would be my first choice in Stockholm. The menu is...More

We happened upon this place while walking around Gamla Stan and had a fabulous traditional Swedish lunch. Set in a quaint old building with a library feel, we enjoyed a fantastic traditional veal dish with lingonberries, peas and potatoes. Our waiter was really helpful with...More

We were a couple, seated just next to a very large (16-20 people) group, that were normal-level noisy with chatting and laughing. But the room acoustics were so bad, that we could not just barely hear each other sitting just inches apart. It was an...More

On a weekend trip to Stockholm, we decided to have my 21st birthday dinner in Fem Sma Hus to celebrate. The layout of the restaurant is very cool, with multiple townhouses combined and multiple levels making up the restaurant. Food was good and I would...More

Good food in a special setting. Ask for a table in the lowest basement rooms. Overpriced because of the setting and location, it's still quite good. We've had better rack of lamb but this was prepared well. The veal was even better.

Due to its high rating, my mom and I decided to try this place. We had the veal which was good and the duck confit. The duck had an unpleasant strong gamey taste that tasted unfresh. I had about two bites and couldn't take it...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Description
Five Small Houses you will find in the heart of Old Town, just off St. George and the Dragon. You are welcomed into a superb restaurant, which is made up of nine beautiful arches. These extend over five house, hence the name of the restaurant. There is also a modern conference room and lounges that are often used as function rooms On the menu you can always find dishes like herring, cured salmon, fillet of reindeer and a cloudberry dessert. Our parade course fillet´t of veal Anna Lindberg, it is served with morel sauce and potato gratin. It is also possible to organize wine tastings as related to conferences or as completely separate events.
