I opted for the inside restaurant though most of the clientele was on the outside and I think my choice affected the service. The food was terrific, with an excellent Verance roe starter with several breads and butter with salt flakes in it. Main course...More

My first experience in a typical swedish experience was pretty good. Of course the main course here is fish, and especially salmon and herring which is okay by me. The restaurant was not so croweded and there were mainly tourists around, still it didn't feel...More

This was recommended by the concierge at the Grand Hotel and we were so happy we found it. Our waiter Peter had a great sense of humor and we had a wonderful meal - the Swedish meatballs are delicious. There are a series of cellars...More

Nice restaurant and nice food in Fem Sma Hus. The waiters are friendly, the food is typical swedish, with good taste. Inside, the restaurant is full of small rooms at different level but there is also a terrace. Definitively a place to recommend. The heering...More

Wow, I was impressed. I had dinner with co-workers. I had the Elk Carpaccio for an appetizer, reindeer filet for dinner, and rhubarb sorbet for dessert. Great food, great atmosphere. Worth a visit for a great dining experience.

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and it sits in a great location in Gamla Stan in Stockholm. We asked for and got a table outside so we had a good start, however, it went downhill from there... We had to ask twice to...More

Our last night in Sweden, we wanted genuine Swedish meatballs. This place had some outdoor seating, and as it was a lovely evening we decided that was for us. We had the meatballs, and honestly were a bit disappointed. I've had just as good from...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
