The sushi and sashimi were alright. The Miso soup good. The Dim Sushi and Gyoza/ dumplings not good. Not pure fresh. We liked the Tom Ka Gai well spiced. Oyster were alright. The deep fried dishes questionable. Thai beef salad alright but could be a bit more spicy. Some good deserts. Coconut cookies is one of my favorites. Why not... More

Berns is still serving the best brunch in Stockholm. And the setting is simply wonderful / beautiful. The brunch is a buffet which is very much inspired from Asian cuisine. It includes Sushi, Sashimi and dumplings. All are excellent. There is also a variety of warm dishes, soups and salads. Some are spicy. You will end up your feast with... More

A few friends decides to catch up over brunch and we did choose the iconic Berns Asiatiska. Due to the weather, we arrived late but the table had been safely waiting for us - yet the hostess kindly told us that they couldn't extend the time (which is acceptable because it's one of those places where everyone wants to have... We visited for lunch in 1st of January !! The place was recovering from last night's huge party however everything run smoothly. This is one of the most beautiful halls in Europe. Asian food is delicious, the service is friendy and efficient.

It definitely has the wow factor. Great ambiance and great staff. Whether you're going for sushi or dim sum it is both exceptional. They offer a lot of good wines by the glass.

I start this review with 2 stars for the actual venue; it is just gorgeous. I'll also preface the second part by admitting that I married into a Japanese family and have lived and traveled there and through Asia for the past 20 years so my standards regarding Asian food may be high. However; when a restaurant anywhere in the... More

If there's one restaurant one must go to in Stockholm, this is it!! I simply love this place. I love their every dish (been there a few times, and I tried different things each time)! Great quality, and the "fusion" dishes are all made just right, retaining what their Asian counterparts should taste like but with enough of a twist... More

Big restaurant (room can be noisy) with a different choices of buffet (Japanese, Chinese, thai etc). Food is good, nothing extraordinary though but you come to the restaurant more for the experience , the fun atmosphere. Start with a drink and then go after to the night club downstairs!

Beautiful venue and a good selection of great tasting food. The sushi is exceptional and it's definitely saving a little room for the dessert table.

Very interesting food in excellent surroundings. See our review of the Berns Hotel. A very busy and buzzing restaurant clearly enjoyed and loved by the residents of Stockholm.

Berns Salonger, a hotel, conference facility and nightclub, are situated in the heart of Stockholm in 19th century splendour. This is also where you'll find Berns Asiatiska, the city's first Chinese restaurant, which opened in 1944, when it was honoured with a visit from the Chinese embassy. Berns Asiatiska still strives to be an international meeting place which introduces new flavours. These days you can enjoy dishes from all the regions of Asia. At weekends an enormous brunch buffet is served and in the afternoons, you can pop in for ?yum cha? (Chinese tea) which includes dumplings and a fantastic desserts buffet. What's more, you can always watch the skilled sushi chefs at work ?live? in the restaurant.
