The overall ambience of Tennstopet was very good and the service was good, but the cuisine/food was basically average in terms of ingredients and overall taste.

Very good restaurant in central Stockholm, little bit expensive but worth it. Genuine swedish food and some more, a must if in Stockholm.

Recommended by friend from Stockholm. Dinner with our 8 yo daughter. She's a bit fussy but loved both the herring with dill potatoes and the salmon. Salmon was a mild gravlox which was perfect. Friendly atmosphere, attentive service. We would gladly return.

Nice place, nice service and good food. A bit far away from the city centre. It can be busy, so sometimes is not easy to get a good sitting place.

There are lots of things to do in Stockholm and many places to eat, but Tennstopet is an absolute must. While you enjoy the marvelous though incomprehensible Swedish sounds the many other guests make in this mirrored grand café, bustling waiters keep bringing you delicious...More

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost
looks too good to be true. It has the winning
combination of a central location, tranquility, and
beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and
eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s
most sought-after place to live. If walking through
this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy
tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
