Nestled in the corner of Stockholm's Östermalms Saluhall, Lisa Elmqvist is a seafood lover's paradise. Their standard menu includes a wide array of typically Swedish seafood dishes, relying on fresh ingredients and simple, clean flavors. Daily specials are all worth exploring. The bouillabaisse, which is...More

We had a romantic dinner at the Lisa Elmqvist. It was really nice, the food was very good, especially the fresh fish! The prices are okay for Sweden, the wine is not to expensive. If you love fish you should visit this restaurant.

This place has great seafood set in a fun market atmosphere. Roe literally busts out of the shrimp. I would recommend Lisa's to anyone.

Comfortable place inside the covered market, great menu with fish and seafood staples. We had the buillabasse (fish soup) and the salmon tartare which were both excellent. Good value for money in central Stockholm

Great for take away and to eat in! Their market products are just as good as their restaurant dishes. Specialty seafood venue, but also have wonderful bread. A must go to place in Stockholm

From market trader to purveyor to His Majesty the King. It all began in the early 1920s. Fisherman's daughter Lisa Elmqvist traded her wares at a street market by the waterfront, and customers quickly flocked to her stall. Her fish, shellfish and cookery skills were of such a high standard that she swiftly moved up to Ostermalms Saluhall - the perfect place to allow her ability to shine through. Today, 90 years later, the fourth generation of the Elmqvist family continues her work assiduously from the same stall, gaining more and more experience and ambitions. The restaurant has recommendations in Guide Michelin for the last 10 years in a row. During the renovation of the old market hall from 1888 you will find us at the temporary market hall at Ostermalstorg. We will move back summer 2018.
