This is a fairly small restaurant housed within a large seafood market. The menu is fairly small, but has a good diversity of different preparations of fish and shellfish. The quality of the good, and the wine list, were absolutely outstanding. I only rate this...More

Very nice Scandinavian atmosphere, not to big a restaurant. English as everywhere in Stockholm is not a problem. Nice straight forward menu, not too sophisticated. All food absolutely fresh, small matching wine list. I would definitely come again.

We came here for dinner around 7pm, and there were plenty of seats available. It's located at the end of the Ostermalms food hall, but the rest of the foodhall was closed. It goes without saying that the specialty here is seafood and we agree...More

We’ve been to different restaurants in Stockholm, this was by far one of the best foodwise. Staff is very accommodating, choice of dishes wonderful and the atmosphere, even though it’s in a temporary markethall, is great. We’ll be back for more.

We have been there two times. We were satisfied by the quality of the food and service. young waitresses should be trained some more. One guided us to an obscured table with a catatonic face although the restaurant was empty. Otherwise everything excellent.

A classic for seafood in Stockholm. At the moment they are situated in another place than usual due to the fact that the Market Hall where they usually are is under major renovation. It is advisable to book a table as the place is very...More

Herring, oysters, seafood platter - all fresh and really good. Variety of seafood is not great, but I suppose that’s simply what’s available and at this time of year. The fine de claires oysters were particularly good. Good size (#3) and very fresh. Nice bottle...More

Relocated to a giant flat pack style building while the old Saluhall next door is refurbished. This a superb, informal fish restaurant. The fish is so fresh you have to slap it. I went for a classic herring prepared three ways which was great. My...More

This is a great fish restaurant. It is located in a market, which is actually a temporary structure put up until the older market’s refurbishment is completed. The restaurant is next to the store which is known for selling very fresh fish, so naturally the...More

From market trader to purveyor to His Majesty the King. It all began in the early 1920s. Fisherman's daughter Lisa Elmqvist traded her wares at a street market by the waterfront, and customers quickly flocked to her stall. Her fish, shellfish and cookery skills were of such a high standard that she swiftly moved up to Ostermalms Saluhall - the perfect place to allow her ability to shine through. Today, 90 years later, the fourth generation of the Elmqvist family continues her work assiduously from the same stall, gaining more and more experience and ambitions. The restaurant has recommendations in Guide Michelin for the last 10 years in a row. During the renovation of the old market hall from 1888 you will find us at the temporary market hall at Ostermalstorg. We will move back summer 2019.
