Web Site is misleading, implying a range of amuse bouche (free as an introduction from the chef), when reality is appetizers served without discussion, but appearing individually priced on the final invoice. Ordeal takes > 3.5 hrs. with one interval > 45 minutes. Great food show but very little food so ending the night hungry and poor. Overpriced wine list,... More

We were keen to try Kiin Kiin after hearing good things online. It didn't disappoint. From the street food style nibbles on arrival, to the 9 course banquet we went on to feast on - food here is delicious. We especially loved the fish dishes, and the mackerel was divine, as was the yellow curry. Presentation was outstanding and innovative.... More

The meal we had here was transcendent! Not only is the food great, but the experience as a whole is simply awesome. We were greeted by the chef when we arrived, who was incredibly friendly, keen to understand where we were from, told us the history of the restaurant and how he came to have the only Michelin-starred Thai restaurant.... The whole event was a little long, 3.5 hours with aperitifs and street food in the bar before sitting down for the dinner proper. Probably half the number of starter plates would be enough. That complaint apart the way in which Thai spices and dishes were reworked was very creative and delicious. Probably our stand out meal in Copenhagen and... More

If you are in Copenhagen, just go to this restaurant! We had a private business dinner there but the food was just out of this world. Creative, fabulous flavours and just fantastic fun from beginning to end. I have lived in Asia for almost 10 years - but wouldn't believe that I would get such amazing Asian food in Copenhagen.... This is the best Thai restaurant I ever visited! Given the price however this restaurant should not be compared with the typical Thai restaurant usually in the cheaper end of the restaurant scene. The food was really good but to get a 5th star it has to be magical and at this price there are a number of other restaurants... More

Yesterday my wife and I flew to Copenhagen to visit some American friends. One of them wanted particularly to go to Kiin Kiin. - a Michelin star Thai. I will try most things at least once, so off we went. What was on offer was a single menu of nine courses for approximately $150 per person, with an optional wine... More

I have been to this fantastic Thai restaurant two times, and I'll be back for more. We tried the Theater menu on our first visit, and it was great. The second time, I went for the whole evening menu and it was fantastic. I have been to Noma and other top restaurants, and even though those visits were spectacular, the... More

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
