We were taken to this Michelin star Thai restaurant by a local friend who loves to dine out. I was very skeptical in the first place as we travel to Thailand so often and Thai is our favourite cuisine but to have it in Copenhagen sounded strange. But we were told this restaurant was the first Thai restaurant outside of... More

At Kiin Kiin you get a huge number of small dishes in addition to the menu, ensuring that you really "get around". I enjoyed the experience a lot, and the food was highly creative, but compared to some of the other Michelin restaurants in Copenhagen, I think Kiin Kiin lacked just a little bit in pure taste. Still, it is... More

Tonight was a real disappointment. The food was not good, spiced too heavily, full of msg gloop, and service far too slow. It took 30 minutes to get a drink, and 2 hours and 3 tiny plates of food later, we cancelled the rest of the meal and left.

We dined here in April 2016 with a tour group and had an amazing experience with the staff. The meal was very good and even me being a picky eater I just closed my eyes and tried the delights. Even better was the presentation of the food and drinks with such innovative techniques.

...I've had better food in Thailand for just a fraction of the cost. In general I am a fan of generous portions of simple food made of good ingredients and the show they put on there is then understandably not exactly my cup of tea. However, 4 stars for the food and friendly service.

We were rather disappointed, but I after coming with high expectations. The kitchen forgot about my girlfriends pregnancy, even though it was specifically mentioned when ordering the table. The snacks and the Massaman were excellent. The frozen curry was eventful but not impressive in taste. Another hiccup was a 1cm long plastic piece that I pulled out of my desert.... More

7 of us went for dinner and the bill came to nearly £2,000! It was actually 14,000 Danish krone. Although it was 7 courses each course was nothing more than a nibble. I left feeling hungry as did others in my party. It was more a theatrical show than dinner and I won't be returning.

A really fun and different experience. Great food presented in exiting ways. Interesting combinations of wine and food. Only minor missteps during the evening hence the great evaluation.

Never would have expected to eat high end modern Thai in Denmark. Had high expectations having read this place has Michelin status. We opted for the shorter menu at the earlier time because of the expected snacks to be served before the set courses and glad we did as we were comfortably satisfied by the end of the meal. Food... Go to Klin Kiin if you want to be treated well by their professional and attentive wait staff. Also a great place to go if you like taking pictures of your food as the presentation is truly inventive. Take a pass, however, if you want to leave the restaurant feeling satisfied. We went to Klin Kiin three years ago and... More

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
